Leeds International School Galle was founded on the 13^th of September 2000 and as the pioneering International school in the District, Leeds Galle branch had been carrying out its duties and responsibilities to the utmost satisfaction of the parents and students.

We were able to shift to our newly built school premises in September 2016 at No.86, Ananda Mawatha, Kithulampitiya, Wakwella, Galle which is more spacious and equipped with better facilities for the teaching and  learning process.

We continually improve both physical and human resources to keep up the standards of both academic and non academic spheres such as play area for kids, science laboratory, library as well as the IT laboratory.

Furthermore, LIS Galle grants the students the opportunity to take part in numerous sports, games and other extra and co-curricular activities. Our students showcase their skills at zonal level, district level, ISAC and other tournament levels to the best of their abilities.

At LIS Galle we are fortunate to have strong, active parents who are so keen in providing the best education for their children. I thank you for constantly supporting us in every step we take and for placing your confidence in us. The road to a successful adulthood starts early. We strive every day to give correct guidance from early years and make sure that what is learned at LIS Galle will inspire a student to do the best work possible at every stage.

We are proud to have students who have won High Achiever awards at the Edexcel High Achievers’ award ceremonies and those who have excelled in their Higher Education and in careers.

We have a commendable student alumni at Leeds Galle who have grown high and in different paths, but rooted strong as one family. We wish all our students more strength and confidence to be the best they could be.
